Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Drivers to join our team. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in our operations, responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to their designated destinations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, trucks, or other designated vehicles, to deliver goods to customers’ locations in a timely manner.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize delivery times and minimize fuel consumption.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
• Verify delivery instructions, addresses, and contact information to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including friendly interactions with customers, timely delivery of goods, and assistance with unloading items if needed.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and operating company vehicles.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the safety and reliability of company vehicles.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents to management promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, quantities delivered, and any issues encountered during delivery.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to communicate delivery schedules, delays, or changes in route as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid B category driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent driving skills, with the ability to navigate various routes and traffic conditions safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route optimization software is a plus.
